Leaving Mother Russia

Today was the 30-year
anniversary of Natan Sharansky’s walk to Freedom from the Soviet Union.

He spent 9 years in the
Gulag as a prisoner for the “treason” of wanting to emigrate to Israel.

When he was finally released across the “Bridge of Spies” in East Germany, those
waiting for him at the West Berlin checkpoint saw him walking a zig zag back
and forth.  They feared that he was
either drugged or unhinged.

When Sharansky got to the other side, he explained that he had been told by his
minders to “walk straight across the bridge.”

He final act of defiance
was to Not obey his oppressors.

We live in a world where
anyone under 30 years old, not only may not know who Natan Sharansky is, but
who do not know what the Soviet Union; Communism; and the Cold War were…

We are living in a world
where those under 30 have no clue as to what happens when you surrender your
life to The Government in order to have the “freedom” Not to struggle…

OR, conversely, what happens when you surrender your life to someone larger
than life; a polar opposite demagogue who says: “I like making deals,
preferably big deals. That’s how I get my kicks.”

“If you ask me exactly
what the deals . . . all add up to in the end, I’m not sure I have a very good
answer. Except that I’ve had a very good time making them.”

Natan Sharansky suffered for well over 9 years
in an empire that imprisoned people’s minds and souls because he refused to be
a slave to the bribery of comfort, where someone or something else would take
care of him.

He suffered because what he wanted above all was his Freedom to be a Man in a
system that killed Men; to be a Jew in a world that despises Jews; and to be
Free to think and choose in a world that has largely given up thought and
choice.

Bush did not win Iraq. And Obama did not "lose" it.
Muslims and/or Arabs have been slaughtering each other for the last 100 years.
The recent "Arab Spring" is just "all of the poisons the lurk in the mud," hatching out.
The slaughter has simply increased ten fold.
Non Muslims and/or non Arabs didn't start it - not with "colonial" or "imperial" policies and divisions or any other silly accusation how it is the fault of anyone other than Muslims and/or Arabs.
They have been murdering each other in large honking numbers ever since the Saudis decided to fill the Turkish vacuum by massacring large number of Arabs in the Arabian Peninsula and calling it Saudi Arabia.
Every stupid Muslim or Arab faction from Algeria to Pakistan and Chechnya to Nigeria and Sudan to Iran, has been trying to wipe each other out since that time.

The only problem is, that their particular madness is spreading. From Eurabia to Londonistan, they have fouled up Europe beyond recognition. The ravening Islamist Jihadist musfidun in the Euro Union want to establish Sharia to the point that burqa babes can't even go out of the house With an escort.
Osama Who Sleeps With the Fishes offed a few thousand Americans and wiped out downtown Manhattan because he was totally convinced that the Islamist Looney Tunes would flock to his banner, allowing him to "overthrow" the Corrupt Caliphate of Al Saud and establish the Son of Laden as the new Big Porker of the Imaginary Salafist Caliphate.
Okay, not the brightest bulb in the Hirabah but, that was his idea....

So?
What?
Bury our heads in the sand and hope the bad men will just go away?
That hasn't worked real well in the past.

"Negotiate" with Iran? Syria? Somalia? Libya? Until.... oops! Negotiations over?

I have been reading these kind of "analysis'" for the last 12 years. I've got the books. I've read the pundits. I've analyzed the history.
And, these folk are going to keep on a' killin' (mostly their own) folk until the cows come home.
And NOBODY - not even the brutal Russians or Chinese, are going to stop them.
So - I ask ya governor, what's a man to do?
Ain't nobody gonna stop this mess unless.... ?

(* Oh. And "no stopping" means until the point where they wipe themselves, and perhaps a few billion other souls, out with nukes or other WMD's)

Live Free or Die

The World; the United States; and Israel, face a problem called History.
With the disintegration of the Ottoman Empire, Islam lost its stabilizing governing power.
In the hundred years since that time, every tinpot Islamist Death Cultist has declared that THEIR Death Cult was THE Death Cult that all should follow.
In some areas, such as Saudi Arabia and Iran, these Death Cultists managed to change normative Sunni or Shia Islam to their new fascist version of the same.
In the rest of the world, Muslims and Arabs have been engaged in a never ending war against each other as to who gets to be Top Dog.  The current "Arab Spring" is a manifestation of this never ending Civil Sectarian War.

The US and Israel have been trying to deal with these lunatics on a macro level while ignoring the micro terrorism that these fascists foster on a daily basis.
And, that is doomed to failure.
Afghanistan will never be a "country."  The US will never succeed in establishing a stable society there.
Iraq will continue to be ripped by factions that are bent on killing each other.
Saudi Arabia will continue to support Wahhabi terror cells all over the planet.
This will never end.

Unless - the US and Israel deal with each micro event with total force.
Invade Gaza and free Gilad Shalit from his kidnappers.
Invade Iran and free our kidnapped Americans from their captors (as we should have done in 1979 when Iran invaded the United States).
Bomb the crap out of all of Hezbollah's missile sites.
Cease supporting all Arab/ Muslim fascist regimes - from Egypt to Pakistan, with American dollars.
Respond to every single act of terror against innocent civilians with overwhelming force and determination.
Support only those Arabs and Muslims (and the rest of the world) who support both Israel and the United States and are willing to defend that way of life with their blood.
We either Live Free - or die.

If the US and Israel would spend 1/10th of their treasure and might that we currently spend on the "war on terror" on these individual problems and terrorist acts - we would win and the fascist death cultists would lose.

The Arab world is festering with unhappy men.

The Lebanese hate Syria; the Saudis hate Yemen.

Iraqis hate Kuwaitis; Egypt hates Sudan.

And everyone hates Amahnutjob of Iran.

 

But we can be thankful and never surcease

Our praise for that tranquil Religion of Peace.

Even though we know on this lovely day...

Someone has lit the spark off...

The Arab Spring?

For the last 100 years, the Islamic/ Arab world has been going through what I call "The Great Sectarian Muslim/ Arab Civil War."
Muslims and Arabs are the main victims where everyone else, including Israel; the US: the "Western World; Whomever - are just "Brownie Points" on a scoreboard that whoever does the most damage to the "Far Enemy" - non Muslims and non Arabs - gets "Street Cred" in trying to establish their Imaginary Caliphate over the "Near Enemy" - their fellow Muslims and Arabs.
And still - people (even those who theoretically have the expertise to understand these things) are wondering what is happening in the Arab world right now?
What will the results be of this "Arab Spring?"
Is this a New, Democratic Movement that is finally breaking forth?

No.
It is the continuing savagery of a culture that is currently undergoing its phase of "The Flavor of My G-d is Better than the Flavor of Your G-d."

The Christian world reached this point in what is commonly called "the Protestant Reformation," which I call the "Christian Reformation" or... the Great Honking Christian Sectarian Civil War.
This lasted about 300 years; was worldwide; but specifically encompassed all of Europe; and obliterated cities, towns, huge tracts of farmland, and millions upon millions of Christian Europeans.
They were ALL killing each other over the idea that "THEIR" Flavor of Christianity was superior to "YOUR" Flavor of Christianity.
And, the Jewish world did this 2,000 years ago in what Josephus called "The Wars of the Jews."
They also ended up obliterating their world.

This Arab/ Muslim War has become more and more destructive from its inception around 100 years ago and it has nowhere else to go except into more violence; more destruction; and more death, until they destroy the world or become bankrupt; exhausted; dead; and destroyed - and, therefore can no longer fight...
(Which is what happened to the Christians 500 years ago...)

This "Arab Spring" is simply the latest, more violent, more vicious, more destructive phase of over 100 years of incessant violence and domination directed towards other Muslims and Arabs.
This will continue to get worse - not better.
There will be no "Democracy" or "Liberty" or "Tolerance" or "Justice" or... especially "Mercy," until the Arab/ Muslim world changes its basic values.
Unfortunately, based on both Jewish and Christian precedents, they are unlikely to do this before they utterly destroy themselves... and - possibly the rest of the planet.

The Will to Fight; the Will to Win are, and have always been, the direct contributing factors to victory in war.

After Pearl Harbor, the American people developed or, for the cynical minded, were manipulated into developing, the Will to Fight.

And, Free Societies with the Will to fight have always beaten the unfree hatreds of dictators and despots. Always.

Of course, During WWII, there was a large contingent of "surrender monkeys" who believed that the triumph of either Hitler’s fascism or Stalin's fascism, was inevitable. There is nothing new about those who will defend or even support horrible atrocities and conquests in the name of "peace" and pragmatism.
Those who believed in the ultimate, inevitable triumph of Stalin's "Communist" fascism lasted long after WWII. They believed the “Will to Fight” and the “Will to Win” were anachronistic values that actually placed the United States and mankind in danger. They believed it was better to compromise or even surrender with an Evil that placed no value on human life and murdered millions of people in the name of pragmatism.

This debate hotly raged until the fall of the Soviet Union and, there are several places, most notably Eastern Europe, China, and Vietnam, where the US "blinked" and surrendered this Will to fight, condemning hundreds of millions to death and slavery.

This Will to fight has always been engendered or suppressed; supported or attacked; made to seem like a noble cause, or vilified as criminal actions, by the media.

The United States of America is an historically unique breeding ground for generating the democratic values of liberty and brotherhood. The values of freedom of speech and religion along with equality under the law and just courts are uniquely American values.

This value system is also unique that it is biblically based in the Judeo – Christian bible and traditions.

Both Judaism and Christianity have recreated themselves in the United States. They have both developed new aspects of their religions based on a sort of feedback loop from the values upon which the USA was founded.

The initial Christian "exceptionalism" that led our earliest forefathers to believe that America was “the promised land” and that they, as new immigrants were the “chosen people,” has developed into an "American exceptionalism" which includes all Americans. And, this has in turn looped back to reinvigorate Christian values Jewish values to reflect American values in new ways with new ideals.

American Christianity, whether it be Evangelicalism or Catholicism or other variants of Protestantism or even Mormonism, is the driving force of Christianity throughout the world. It reflects American values.

And, it is no accident that the world thinks America is Jewish, even though, statistically speaking, Jews are an insignificant number in the general population. The philosophies of Judaism have grown and been re-energized in the United States of America unlike any other time or place.

The synthesis of these two points of view – the fact that the media has always influenced the Will to Fight and the Will to Win in the United States and, the fact that the Jewish and Christian religions have been influenced and have influenced the United States to the ideals of liberty; brotherhood; freedom; and justice, can set an example of what must be done to win this current war against Islamic radicals that believe that murder and chaos are their tools by which they enter Heaven.

It matters little whether Islam has been hijacked or whether these murders are at the core belief of Islam. What matters is that it is possible to change these beliefs and this way of life (or, more to the point, death worship) by allowing and encouraging Muslims to develop an American Islam based the distinct American values of tolerance for other points of view.

On the American values of freedom of speech and religion.

On the American values of equality and for all peoples under the law, particularly women and “non-believers” in the case of Islam.

The most powerful force that America has to convince Muslims that they can take their religion and culture and make it new and free is the media that permeates our world.

Use that media to promote American values and denigrate the values of Death worship and destruction.

Use that media to create a uniquely American Islam that is able to spread its philosophies of tolerance and justice to the rest of the world.

Why not?

It has been five years since the United States was attacked on 9/11.

In that time, the “War on Terror” has become a game of “Gotcha” among politicians and large media outlets. The Democrats are currently debating useless resolutions trying to demonstrate their disapproval for this war, and the media providers, from Reuters to CNN, along with most of the other large print and television outlets, are all assisting them in casting constant doubt and pitiful self examination regarding this war.

Israel, our ally and the only other country in the world that is directly in the storm front of these ceaseless attacks on innocents, has a government mired in corruption and confusion and a populace that has long been forced to turn a deaf ear to a world community that somehow believes that Israel is the “most dangerous country in the world.”

There are approximately one billion Muslims in the world.

It is reported through wildly differing sources and polls that anywhere from 10 % to 60% of the Muslim population supports or approves of terrorist attacks such as suicide bombings and the murder of innocents.

For the simple purpose of agreement, let us suppose that there are only 5 % of the world’s 1 billion Muslims who support this kind of terrorist activity.

That is 50 million Muslims.

And let us again suppose that there are only 5 % of those Muslims who would actually strap on a bomb or cut off someone’s head.

That’s two and a half million radical Islamists that believe in their god of Death.

And, let’s just suppose that 5 % of those who desire to murder us and themselves are actually able to accomplish such a goal.

That’s 125,000 potential death cultists ready, willing, and able to commit destruction and chaos at any time; against any persons; anywhere…

These people, willing to die for their twisted beliefs, can never be stopped.

The only way to stop them is to remove their support structure.

This can only be done by fellow Muslims who are willing to create an Islam that supports freedom of speech and freedom of religion with a legal system of equality and just courts.

In short, a reformed Islam.
